Wedding Band Hire in Leeds – Inside two incredible Leeds weddings.
Wharfedale Grange & Springwell Works
If you’re searching for wedding band hire in Leeds, you’ll already know how many brilliant venues this city has to offer. Leeds has everything from luxury barn spaces to edgy, industrial breweries — and each one creates a completely different atmosphere for your day.
Recently we played two weddings that showed off the full range of what Leeds does best:
✨ The romantic, modern-barn feel of Wharfedale Grange
✨ The urban, industrial, brewery-cool vibe of Springwell Works
Two totally different settings. Two seriously good parties. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at both.
Wharfedale Grange – Romantic Barn Vibes With a Proper Evening Party Feel

Wharfedale Grange is one of Yorkshire’s most iconic barn-style wedding venues — warm lighting, high beams, big open spaces and that polished, elegant feel that’s perfect for an evening celebration.
This wedding had that lovely early-evening build-up: guests settling in, drinks flowing, everyone catching up before the party really got going. When we started our first set, the whole room lifted straight away. You could feel that everyone was ready for a proper celebration.
The dance floor filled instantly and stayed that way all night. Big singalongs, arms round shoulders, groups jumping in for the choruses — it had that classic Wharfedale energy where the entire room feels connected. The couple were right in the middle of it all, and the atmosphere just kept building from track to track.
Hamish Irvine caught the whole story of the night as it unfolded — all the in-between moments, all the big reactions, and the full, glowing Wharfedale Grange party vibe.

Springwell Works – Industrial, Edgy and Perfect for a Modern Leeds Celebration

Springwell Works is a Leeds wedding venue with its own unmistakable identity — clean lines, concrete floors, stainless steel, warm lighting and that cool, contemporary brewery atmosphere. It feels relaxed as soon as you walk in, and this wedding leaned right into that vibe.
Guests were already buzzing around the bar when we arrived — drinks in hand, groups gathered at long tables, the whole place feeling laid-back and sociable.
As soon as we kicked off the first set, everything jumped up a level. Guests were singing along from the first tune, the dance floor filled straight away, and the room had this brilliant, informal “brewery party” feel.
By the second set, Springwell Works was absolutely flying. Both sets were pumping — the whole crowd dancing, big choruses being shouted back at us, circles forming on the dance floor, everyone moving from one tune to the next without losing momentum. It felt exactly like the kind of city-centre celebration Springwell is made for.
Liam Booth’s photos captured that movement and energy perfectly — the colours, the atmosphere and all the mid-party moments that make brewery weddings so good.

The Perfect Setup for These Two Leeds Weddings
Both of these celebrations were booked as our 5-piece brass band without vocals — a lineup that’s ideal for big singalongs, upbeat party moments and festival-style wedding sets. Without a vocalist, the focus shifts to the brass and the interaction with the crowd, creating this brilliant, immersive atmosphere where guests become part of the performance. For couples who want something fun, different and high-energy, this setup fits Leeds venues perfectly.
